Work today was pretty busy. I took it upon myself today to ask my manager for 30 minutes of her time to "discuss" certain things. Mainly, I wanted a raise. I've been working there for about a year and a half and haven't seen a dime more. So I did it, in my charming/smooth sort of way...HAH! Yea right, I was nervous as hell. I've never asked for a raise before. In any case, she was more than happy to give me a raise...except the whole IBM contractor bullshattle might prevent me from getting one. If I were just with my original company (Kforce), it would've been instantaneous but since I'm under this IBM umbrella of contractors, its all political and gay. My fingers are crossed and this raise would definitely make me feel a little better with the wedding around the corner. Horry Morry....the wedding is around the corner!! FACK!!! I still have all this junk to do. Time to get on the ball...and uhmm...bounce...or roll... =)
