So life has been kind of crazy for the last month or so.  To give you an idea: On Saturday night, I slept for 12 and half hours straight, and probably could have gone on longer if I didn't feel so ridiculous at having slept for so long.  I suppose I could summarize the significant events of late, since I have so much spare time... or probably just because I need a break from Jewish law (which, don't get me wrong, is awesome).
- On Tuesday, I gave a private campus tour to someone who has appeared on The Daily Show.  Probably not that exciting in and of itself, but because I am super starstruck, I felt it was a notable event.
- For the first two weeks of February, I went on my last domestic choir tour (international tour to the British Isles this summer will be the official "last" tour, I suppose).  It was fun and exhausting as usual.  Probably would have been more fun if we hadn't gone to the dirty South.  I saw two real-life Confederate flags, which was special.  Also, in Greenville, it was big news that the choir at Bob Jones University was at our concert, since apparently the last time the choir went to that area, they boycotted our concert because St. Olaf was thought to be too liberal.
- I am drowning in make-up work from missing a week of school.  Also, further drowning in the work that continues to build up as school moves forward and I don't quite move with it.
- In the night before I left for choir tour, I successfully completed a 25-page essay on Jane Austen, submitted the paper to a journal, applied to Teach for America, and applied for a summer internship in Boston.  It was an intense night.
- As a side note, another discovery that I made on choir tour: Miami is really sketchy.  Like, really sketchy.
- Kate Winslet won an Oscar.  Yes, I consider that an important event in my life.
Okay, that's all.  But probably not.
