OK, so I had set the squirrel trap yesterday, with some peanut butter and peanuts. Tonight I checked it, and the thing was licked spotless. LOL.
I reset it, and put more peanuts underneath the little trigger platform. Hopefully it will drive it crazy enough that it will hit the trigger. I think I also figured out how to make it a bit more sensitive.
Cliff admitted he thought I was a bit crazy, and that there wasn't anything up there. But obviously there is!
