About the leg.

So, I had the procedure last Monday. It was scheduled as a biopsy and possible excision. They ended up taking out the mass, and from what I heard it was a lot deeper than originally expected.

I haven't been able to put any weight on the leg (and won't be able to at least until next Tuesday, when sutures come out). I'm using a walker to hobble around the house but a wheelchair for anywhere else. Poor Ken has had to work around me and drive me to school.

I didn't go to class for the first three days, and being in class is a little hard still. The wheelchair tends to raise the leg to a point where it's slightly uncomfortable and ends up hurting by the end of the night.

I finally got the results of the biopsy today. I was originally supposed to get them on friday, but when he called and it came up as a "private call" I thought it was my mom and didn't pick up, and then he didn't call back the rest of the day. Yesterday he was in surgery all day so I had to wait until today to get the results. He just called about 15 minutes ago... it was a benign tumor. The only thing we'll need to do is an MRI in 3 months.

Thank goodness.
