Ren Faire was fun. I really do think I have more fun with costumes and friends, but it was nice to go. The Texas Ren Faire has gotten A LOT bigger than I remember it being, that's for sure.

Also, I am sick. I wasn't ready to admit it yesterday, though my nose was stuffy and runny and I was sneezing all day. I thought it was just typical allergies to all the hay and the leaves falling.
I wake up this morning and both my nostrils are CLOGGED. No air going in either...and it's sorta making me feel cruddy. AND I have a small cough.
So maybe Mom was right and this is a cold. I hope she doesn't say anything about be getting a flu shot. >.< I'm done with being poked with needles for a little while.
As for the cold, I'll blame it on the chilly morning weather last week when I took the kids out for the school bus.
I've been cooking lately. It's shocking really. I've made pork roast and ziti with meat sauce. I'm proud...because I never cook.
Not only did I cook, but not only did my mother like it and say it was very good...THE KIDS ate both. No complaints, no nitpicking about the spices...they raved about how good both were.
When a 7 and 8 year old eat what you made...you know you truly did SOMETHING right. :D
Anyway...I think I'm gonna grab me some breakfast or something and crash for a little longer...
