I printed off a list of crap Tony can't eat and it's posted on the fridge. Good for checking the labels of canned goods and mixes. There's a lot here that he can't eat.

I am so sorry you have to go through this, especially during your 3rd trimester - I remember how tiring that was. I know I don't live very close, but if there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to call or email. I'll keep your family in my prayers, and hopefully things will get better soon.

::hugs::

Thank Aubrey I'm feeling better about most things right now, I'm just tired. Trying to do only one major thing a day so at least I feel like I'm getting something done.

I wanted to share with you this website that has gender neutral play cooking items for baby Steve, I was just going to buy him a set for his bday but I didn't know when you guys were coming home and I didn't want to just mail it and have it sitting outside your place, I also don't know what you all actually have for him. Anyway the website is here they have a whole section for "play kitchen" if there is something he'd like on that site please let me know and I'll send you a GC for the shop.

Celiac is just wheat products, right??

If he's a meat and potatoes guy it shouldn't be too hard :)

But man, its crazy what kind of stuff can sneak into pre-packaged stuff. I'm sure it'll get really easy after a bit though.

yes he loves meat and potatoes the problem is the kids don't like meat and potatoes lol and I am not making 2 meals a night! He also loves to eat crap like ranch pretzels, pop tarts, mac n' cheese so the main challange is making something that he can take for lunches at work he also doesn't want to read labels. It's fun!

oh it's wheat, barley and rye. That includes some really strange things, like some brands of mayo and mustard!

I may be wrong, but I believe there are a few brands of beer made from gluten-free grains like sorghum. I know that Bard's Tale makes gluten-free beer. It's really good, too. It's the only kind of beer that Andy likes. It's not hard to find, either - it's even sold at the shoppette.
