the credential

i had opted out of getting my PPS credential (school counseling) one mainly because of a requirement that i could not meet. this requirement was intended for the candidate to work outside of one school setting, for example, i work in a high school, thus i needed hours at an elementary or middle school.

the problem lies in the fact that i WORK.

but with teaching summer school to 8th graders this year, which was a COUNSELING class, the problem can now be solved which is a relief because even though i'm applying for other jobs i have a distinct feeling that my grace period at MJUSD is running out fast. so it is now back in the works for me to have this credential which would qualify me to at least keep my current job somehow and for me to apply for others. i found five jobs in the bay for school counselors that i am going to start the process of filling out apps for tomorrow AND do that work for Bob which i didn't do today due to a f-ing migraine that is still here, but more dull.

so all i would have to do is get the paperwork done, get someone at work (linda or tracey to be my main person) and i'll be set!

i got excited after that first job i applied for called me back immediately, then the others...nothing. so i need to expand my with my experience and get this little piece done. overall the cost will be around $700. *sigh*

i've decided to forgow going anywhere this weekend and WORK. it's starbucks time. finish the SRT review for bob, and finish applications. monday i will go to work, do some work around the class. tuesday i'm off to the bay area to stay with angela and tim. then wednesday is my interview with the "first place fund for youth". how did everything become so busy all of a sudden?
