the answer, the waiting, & the wanting

i waited for an answer, a response, something to show me that i meant something in your life. i waited for answer, but there was nothing.

i wanted to believe that you deep down cared for me.

i wanted to know why it was so hard for you to factor me into your life.

i wanted you say to say something. even if it was an answer that i did not want to hear.

all i wanted was for you to care for me and to want to be there.

i want for my heart not to feel broken.
