It's raining records.

It was bound to happen, but it's definite now: after records were broken in July (the most heat waves, the driest month, the hottest month of all times), new ones broke in August: it was the wettest in at least a decade! I don't think we've had more than 4 days without rain this month. Oh, and here's an other one: most heavy rains ever. But there's more: it's the most extreme change in Summer weather conditions ever. So, is there anyone out there who envies our climate?

Come to think of it, weekends in August weren't really as bad as this month's workdays. During those weekends, we've actually been given the opportunity to get in touch with some good old sunshine. Take last weekend for example. We were camping in Zeeland at a time that was supposed to rain away according to forecasts. That Friday Sam, Nicole and Maikel (who left early) took a swim in the outside pool of the camping site. Its successive Saturday brought us a whole bunch of clouds (and about 3 drops of rain) and Sunday got me sunburned. So, that ain't bad, is it?
