Peer Pressure
Damn you! Damn you all!
After months of putting shit on Livejournal and the people that use it I have now bowed to peer pressure and started my own account... if only because this seems to be a more effective way to communicate then the phone these days.
So what am I going to do with this little journal of mine? Shall I post my innermost thoughts and private moments here? Shall I use this to ask for advice from my friends about all the things that trouble me? Or shall I just make it a soapbox where I can bitch about other people naively believing that it's never going to get back to them (yet secretly hoping that it does)?
Shit no!
If I'm going to use this at all it's going to be simply to spray out useless crap and tidbits of information about my life or stuff in general in a scattergun approach that may be at times, amusing, insulting, or downright disgusting.
I think that one of the great things about posting on LJ (see, I'm even using the acronyms now) is that it's a good way to kill a few minutes at my less then always busy workplace. And I accept that since I have to be pretty bored to post something on here, you must be amazingly bored to read it.
So... get a coke, sit back, put your feet up, and just keep clicking Refresh until I post something new. (Alternatively you could just check back from time to time).
