A Day Is Finished
This day is done. It has been long and very strange. It started off just fine. I went to work, did mindless tasks, and then came home. When I got home there was a large envelope for me. I was excited because I thought it was the end of a bad relationship (I'm sure you can guess what I was waiting for if you know me.) Instead, I found out that the ex had not taken any of the necessary actions to end our bad relationship. She's had the opportunity for five months, but she did nothing. That kinda upset me.
After a few long hours of Latin homework, I started working on this site. My wonderful girlfriend Mandy called a little later. She always makes my days go better. She had some suprising news as well. She has been accepted into Baylor and probably Texas Christian University for grad school. For the past few weeks I have been planning things around moving to Texas in the fall. Mandy has also had to deal with the move because she will be far from her family. She recieved an email today saying that she is an alternate choice for the grad program at Ohio University. It was just a big shock. Once you have your mind set on a major change and your finally settled in on the reality of the change, things like this can really screw up emotions. Nothing too much is going on right now though. Derek is on the couch, typing with a strange grin on his face. Chris is at his computer chatting with peeps, Qortra is at work at the White House, and I am sitting at a laptop typing hoping I get tired enough to fall asleep in the next half an hour.
