I took the boys this afternoon to see Deathly Hallows.

The Youngest saw it yesterday so he spent most of the movie whispering a comic monologue in my ear. He loves to 'dissect' movies. I kept whispering back, DO NOT QUESTION THE PLOT! Sheesh ( Read more... )

I love my kids. But I hope I haven't made them too twisted. ;)

This extra hour thing is working out really well today...wow, it's only 7pm...BIG aggravation happened today on the way to the grocery store---I was driving and a red SUV was tailgating me. Logistics first...
We arrived at the theatre about 40 minutes prior to start and most good seats were gone! We ended up on side about half-way up. Not too bad. Audience mostly youngish woman/girls. The Eldest was most chagrined when a female classmate recognized and screamed out his name. *snort* I'm sure he'll face some teasing tomorrow ( Read more... )

I went to see Eagle Eye this past Saturday. Shia LaBeouf is as cuddly as ever but throughout the movie I kept asking myself, "Haven't I seen this plot before?" The kids loved it; non-stop action wins them over every time. My old eyes had trouble following the incessant car-racing-crashing-burning-blowing-up sequences.
