I got to take a vacation!
I got to go to New Jersey for ten days. My aunt took me to Philly to see the Liberty Bell, Constitution Hall, have lunch in the same tavern where Thomas Jefferson & Benjamin Franklin ate and drank, I got to see New York City TWICE, we saw the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Times Square, FAO Schwarz, Trupm Towers, Rockafeller Plaza, and soooooo much more!
I think one of my absolute favorite sights was Cape May. What a beautiful little town! All the houses were victorians...okay....well, MOST of them. I wondered if they were haunted! I loved shopping there. I bought a beautiful Moonstone ring for myself.
I loved seeing the ocean again. I grew up in a town near the water and I never know how much I miss it till I'm near it again. I sometimes flirt with the idea of re-locating.
The kids are going to go back to school soon! They are bored...i think School will be a good thing for them.
