Stepping Out
So, I'm going out with my husband tonight. It's our first night out without the baby since July! We're going to his company holiday party, so it should be fun.
I'm a little nervous because our sitter has minimal baby experience. But she's a good friend and is very excited about staying with Lucien. Hopefully he'll sleep for the entire time we're gone. If he doesn't, well, I've told her it's okay for her to sit and watch TV with him until we get home (we'll only be out until 10pm or so). I'm excited, but also feeling a little like a bad mommy.
