I just order one of these for our trip out to Minnesota in two weeks. If the rental car company can provide us with a car seat, then I won't have to worry about removing ours to bring with. But, with this lovely harness, I can put the car seat as checked luggage and still feel confident that Lucien is secure in his airplane seat

That's neat. I'd seen the contraptions where you put your car seat on it and it turns it into an awkward stroller, but I honestly don't think it functions well as a stroller outside of the airport (if that).
