Great things for kids
I just order one of these for our trip out to Minnesota in two weeks. If the rental car company can provide us with a car seat, then I won't have to worry about removing ours to bring with. But, with this lovely harness, I can put the car seat as checked luggage and still feel confident that Lucien is secure in his airplane seat.
This, strangely enough, has eased a fair amount of my anxiety about flying alone with him. Trying to figure out how to manage suitcases, stroller, baby, carry-ons and a car seat all on my own was freaking me out. I decided that a stroller really is a necessary item to bring with, because I need it to keep Lucien wrangled as I travel through the airport. I'm just glad I only have to worry about one bulky item instead of two.
With this out of the way, I can now focus on the fun parts of going on vacation: making sure time is scheduled to see all the people we want to see.
