A big boy
I just want to take a few minutes to gush about how wonderful my son is. He's quickly abandoning the baby phase and becoming a little kid. We have ordered his first meal off the kids menu at a restaurant: chicken fingers and fries. He fed himself and ate almost the whole meal. He even figured out, completely on his own, how to dip the fries in ketchup. He's also walking incredibly well, and the other day walked all the way to the park (about 4 blocks). It's wonderful, and a little sad at the same time.
He has his first child friend: our next door neighbors' daughter Lily. She is an active 3 1/2 year old, and thinks Lucien is super cool. They came over yesterday to play Rock Band, and Lucien and Lily played together nicely for 2 1/2 hours. When it was time for Lucien to take a bath, Lily said, "Mommy, can I take a bath with Lucien?" It was so cute.
I am having so much fun watching him grow. I just wish we were closer to friends and family so they could watch him grow, too.
