(no subject)
What a fabulous past 48 hours!
Ian passed his in-class paramedic test, which apparently is the weed out test for the state exam, so yay!!! He and I (and 6 of his classmates and some coworkers I know) went out to the Distillery to start, and after some wings we did a super modified Monroe Ave Pub Crawl... aka we went to Sportspage until one of his classmates got in a pissing match with another patron outside, and then the bartender inside and he was kicked out. Whoops. Then we hit Avenue Pub, and it was FABULOUS. Love it.
It was so amazing to be out and about, living a life and having FUN. It was JUST what I needed, and everyone was so high-energy from passing the test. Also, I think Ian was trying to get me drunk so he could take advantage of me, hahahaha. ;P
And then I spent a bunch of hours at the barn today, and had a great ride. I cantered over cavaletti, which is the most I've done in like, a year. And then I spent more time scrubbing Skibo's leg stain(s), and then went to Country Max to buy stuff I needed (and didn't need). It was lovely.
And now... I'm getting ready to take a nice, warm shower. And eat dinner. And maybe go into work overnight... Maybe. We'll see if I really feel like doing a 1-to-1 on a medical floor overnight. Booooooring. But it is extra money, 4 hrs of which will be overtime.... and I did just kinda spend some money on ponies. But BOOOOOORING. ::sigh::
