The kids have been 'training' Paloma. It's more like teasing but she doesn't seem to mind. She's happy someone plays with her. I bought a dowel to hold up a plant but it's been taken and they tied a napkin to the end and put a treat and run around the house with her following them trying to get the cookie. They have a report card for her training sessions that measure her on speed, jumping, staying on track, stopping, and going up stairs. She doesn't always get 100%, but it's pretty close. Generous graders.
This morning I heard this conversation.
V: Why do I have to train the dog?
O: I've retired.
V: Why did you retire?
O I don't like training her anymore.
Fickle.
