I once killed a man.

I guess that’s not strictly true. I’ve killed a lot of men.

Women, too. Children.  Even some animals.

Lots of reasons, really. For king and country, yeah. For money. For revenge, for spite, for pleasure.

Now… nowadays it’s just kind of a bad habit, I guess.

So, yeah.  Anyway. I once killed a man…
