...since the five questions meme is going around again, and I'm not going to be posting much in the forseeable future, I may as well have another go at this. Anyone needing people to volunteer for querying, I'm in.
Oh, I meant for people to ask me questions. :) But I still owe you five from last time, don't I? Oops.
So:
1) I'm looking more into bemani games, having played Pump It Up and finding the user interface much more intuitive. You, obviously, are a leader in the field. How did you get so good? What was your learning technique?
2) Something happens that makes it possible to get a full-ride to the college of your choice. Where would you go and what major would you pursue?
3) Name and explain your desired superpower. You get one and only one.
4) Your parents sound pretty erratic at best. Why do you think they're that way? Do you think they're trying to teach you something but failing?
5) Discuss: "I am a water lily. I languish on the River Thames. I like winter sports."
I'm new at this game. If you have a moment, explain, or point me somewhere that explains. I'll be happy to be a guinea pig if you tell me the rules of the game.
I don't know how it got started, but I'm bringing this up because other folks in my lj-watch-list are swinging this one around again. Basically it works like this: someone answers five questions that someone else asked of them. In return for participation in the meme, they're supposed to provide five other people with five questions each. Then those five have to query five others each, etc. It eventually tapers off, because you can't keep that kind of exponential recursivity up forever, but it's kind of a neat way to get to know folks.
3. Given that the universe is open, and that string theory holds some truth about the nature of the universe (assuming you ignore the thing about hypercontraction of the higher order universes), and that the speed of light has been shown to be variable, what the fuck was up with Carl Sagan? Drugs?
4. Is Chicago? Is Not Chicago? Are weblogs dead yet?
5. For the most part, this five questions trend strikes me as inane, as you could probably guess. What do you think of it, and what made you decide that you should give it a shot now?
MANY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY THAT SOMETHING SO SIGNIFICANT HAPPENED IN YOUR LIFE THAT NOTHING ELSE COULD BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT THIS SINGLE EVENT, SINCE BEFORE IT, THERE WASN'T MUCH OF YOU TO EXPERIENCE SAID EVENTS.
