Almost done
45 minutes to the rusted hulk of an automobile sells.
Here's the lowdown:
- car cost $200.00
- fog lights saved ($125.00)
- Power Steering Line saved ($50.00)
- ebay listing ($41.00)
- Current Bid $140.00
(I preface "saved" with the fact that these parts are for another car that I bought on Ebay)
Total: $74.00
In theory, I'm ahead, but . . .
Getting trailer and loading car, 4 hours
Fighting to take parts off of car, 3 hours
pushing car out of the way, 2 hours
washing car to make it look pretty, 1 hour
Overall total: I lose. In the past, I would have had the energy to use large power tools and earthmoving equipment, but this aged, responsible me wants nothing more than for this thing to just go away.
I even had dreams of cutting the doors and top off and driving it around, but . . .
SOMEDAY I WILL CUT THE DOORS AND ROOF OFF SOMETHING AND DRIVE IT AROUND!!!!!!
