Continued from Part I:
I recently discovered a site called MySpace.com. I really don't know what to think of it, so I tried comparing it to some other sites I have been to. Here are the questions that I asked myself:
Is it a knock-off of LiveJournal -- No, the two are substantially different.
Is it another stupid blogging site? -- Yes, but those are harder and harder to avoid nowadays.
Is it worth my time? -- As of now, I lack sufficient data to answer that question.
A little search in
Wikipedia leads me to believe that MySpace is just another cog in the corporate campaign to turn America's youth into mindless, thoughtless, fad-craving, money-wasting, melodramatic, super-fanatic, sex-crazed, poorly-raised, heartless, soulless, careless, callous, pretentious, obnoxious, atrocious, outrageous, destructive, obstructive, seductive, reproductive, psychotic, idiotic, dim-witted, thick-headed, hare-brained, half-baked, stupid, moronic, incompetent, vacuous jerk-offs!
News Corporation can kiss my ass. So can all the other media conglomerates, for that matter. God damn you, Viacom, for running the hellspawn that is MTV! God damn you, Time Warner Inc., for making AOL suck so badly! God damn you, Clear Channel communications, for letting people like Carson Daly, Ryan Seacrest, and Donald Trump have their own radio programs! God damn you! God damn you all to hell!
