Cheese and Novels

I have been too busy being a cheesemonger lately to be much of a writer. Either I really really love this job, or my brain was looking for something non-novel to glom onto. Perhaps a bit of both. Next Sunday my Shut up and Write group is having a marathon writing session, during which I will attempt to go back to being a writer. I've let the flapper fantasy stew a bit, and gone through so many variations, that I want to just dive into those swampy nasty waters and spend the whole afternoon thrashing my way out.

If not, it may be time to seriously consider abandoning ship.
