So there are 4 potentially exciting movies for geeks coming out this year.

1) The Avengers: I'm going to see this on Monday. I am excite. Mostly because there is no member of that cast I wouldn't bang like a screen door in a hurricane, but also because I have waited a long time for Captain America and Iron Man to be on the silver screen together ( Read more... )

I already loathe the Cumberbatch; this did not endear him to me. What a great way to RUIN A POTENTIALLY AWESOME MOVIE. Uh, I have Feelings about this. Obviously.

I have to remind myself that the fact that JGL and Tom Hardy are in the same movie really does not equate to more canon Arthur/Eames.

Oh, sure it does. I'm not even in that fandom, and I can already see the 42323563 "Arthur is a Batman fanboy and it's Arthur's dream" stories coming from a mile away. *g*

I'm honestly not sure I can watch it if BC is actually Khan. I do like him, actually, but. Just. No. Really, no.

I was just wondering what the hell was going on with Spiderman- I had a moment yesterday when I had to ask somebody because I couldn't remember if it'd come out already or not. It's shameful how often that happens. SHAMEFUL!

I agree with everything you said about the Hobbit. Ugh. I hate when I can't be excited about things I want to be excited about. :/ And yes, god help us, there will be and already are stories in the Batman 'verse about JGL and Tom Hardy's characters. Seriously. The craziness is unstopable.

Also, I want to start using the phrase 'bang like a screen door in a hurricane'. That's fantastic. :)
