Nearly missed this one due to a glacially moving queue at the BSF box office and a distinct lack of signposts, however I'm glad I didn't. It turned out to be two rather good talks with a general theme of evolutionary genetics and environmental plasticity. The first mainly concentrated on how certain developmental rules were being reassessed as they appeared to break down once you applied them to the tropics. The other was about human development and whether Culture is defying evolution. Both very interesting.
