(no subject)
where do i start?
today i caught up on a lot of friends' entries. good reading! i myself have been avoiding updating LJ b/c i really don't have anything interesting to offer. finished the show at Rude Guerrilla; made some relly wonderful friendships there; went to some cool auditions in the past couple weeks...nothing's come of them so far. besides, even if something does, i'm not going to mention it b/c i don't want to jinx it (a la my Miss Saigon experience. SO disappointing! whatever. i'm over it.)
what else. my cousin got married. as much as i groan each time i hear of another friend's engagement or marriage, that was good fun, really. and talk about a great ceremony - all the musicians were friends or relatives, so it was all free and extremely meaningful!! and well-done, of course. and the best man turned out to be someone my sister and i knew from high school youth symphony! go fig.
i'll be going to a wedding in march...in singapore! guess who? my first boyfriend ever...and therefore my first ex. yeah. we're great friends now and i'm so excited to be singing at his reception with some other people (who all sang in an a cappella group together in college with the groom!) but shhh-it's a surprise for the bride. ;)
otherwise on the boy-front, along the lines of attending my ex's wedding...lots of irony and obscurity. The (most recent) Ex and i are on good terms...i dunno if they are the terms of might-be-getting-back-together...which i'm not expecting. and frankly i probably shouldn't get attached to anyone right now. furthermore, some people from my past have randomly popped back onto the scene and i'm like "what?!"
and on that note...happy valentine's day!! haha.
