Well I'm back
Ok so here it all is, everything since December.
My ex wife got her way in the end, my girls now have their name changed, this is to reflect the fact that she got remarried and that they are now part of a different family! I only signed the papers if that's what the girls wanted. Initially Terri-Anne didn't want to, she felt like she was being pressured into something. I had a chat with her and with the help of their grand mother, she decided that she wasn't loosing her connection with her father, just gaining a new family. I'm suprised about one fact though, it was her new husband who decided that he wanted the girls in his family, not her.
As a result of me signing the papers, I now enjoy having my daughters stay with me one full week-end a month, though she wasn't forth-comming with the facts about this either! Turns out that the girls had had enough of her and the life they had there that they decided to pack up and move in with me, of course I didn't know anything of this untill I got an email saying "Daddy we're coming to live with you". As things go, my ex thought it was me who was talking them into coming to live with me, I had to show her the email to clear myself of the death penelty, I did get cleared but I'm still locked up on death row according to her!!!
January came, and they stayed over, it was great, had fun, they caught up with everyone and we all just had a magic time. Late January- Dave (my boss) decided to assult me, two weeks after assulting yet another customer. Well he got away with that one but I wasn't going to let him get away with this, so I pressed charges. The bastard knew he'd done wrong and that there was eveidence, so he gave the police the wrong video tape and then destroyed the other one, and paid a person to go against me to say that I attacked him!!! Well the whole thing was settled out of court I got what I wanted and he was shaken! He'll never cross me again, otherwise he'll be in trouble!
Missed the girls in Feb, their step grandmother died, so I under stood! March visit was great, we spent time just mulling around at home. I took them to my church, everyone was flabbergasted. Everone was amazed that these two girls were actually mine. No one could believe that I was really that old and they were as old as I had said, but in all, everyone was awe struck by them. We went clothes shopping, mainly because Terri-Anne had a growth spurt and nothing fitted her and it was really cold that day and they both had a cold.
My Birthday came and went last week with not a spec of thought. I have yet to receive a present from any one- thought my brother is excused because he was in hospital undergoing lung surgery! Yeah his lung collapsed yet again, so this time they went in and did some stiching, if this doesn't hold then he'll have to have a lung transplant and he's younger than me!!! Besides- two weeks prior to that he had an angina attack, this poor bugger is not even 32 and his body is giving up on him, he feels bad about it- hey how do you think I feel- he's my brother!!!
Anyway to cap it all off the play that I was working on last year has grown up, it's now a full stage production about to go on tour and to kick it all off, we've started a new production company called Bridging the Gap Youth Productions, I'll post more about this later.
