favorite vids meme, take 2
I was looking back through some old entries and found the favorite vids meme that I filled out a year ago. I'm so pleased that now I have completely different answers, heh. So, for posterity, here is take 2:
Post a list of your top five favorite vids you've made, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them, and explain why. This isn't about the BEST vids you've made, but which ones you LOVE most.
1) Good - This is my Club Vivid vid for this year that pretty much all my vidding friends have already seen even though it's a premiere *g* It's my favorite vid of mine to date, period. I could watch it on repeat for hours. It turned out exactly how I wanted, and I cranked it out in two days relatively stress-free. It vidded itself. It's fun, it's bouncy, it's dance-y, and it makes me grin like mad every time.
2) Falling From the Sky - You know, there are a lot of things about this vid that I would fix now if I could, but that's not what I think about when I watch it. I think about the incredibly generous feedback I've gotten; I think about what it felt like to experience VVC Premieres for the first time; I think about crying in Vid Review because killabeez said something so kind; and I think about how this vid about killed me, but I did it. I'm proud of this vid. That's what this vid is to me.
3) Paul McCartney - This vid = my friends. And that? Never gets old to me.
4) my Closer vid - This is the other vid that about killed me. There's a lot about this vid I'm proud of and a lot that I'm pleased with (as you will see in August, muahaHA), but more than anything I'm just thrilled that I finished the damn thing. After 10 months, it finally looks how I want. I think only poor Courtney understands just how much that little sentence entails.
5) Maneater - It STILL makes me laugh. Until it doesn't anymore, it's on the list.
