My Day
Amy was kind enough to take me to my second clinic appointment today. My blood work shows the kidney is functioning quite well. Levels are finally down to the high end of "human norm." When we got back to the apartment Amy and I bummed around for a while until Aaron got home. He cooked us spaghetti and it was wonderful.
After Amy went home I finally started playing Mass Effect. The combat system is probably pretty tame by comparison to most games out today. However, since I haven't played much in the way of shooters I am having a few issues. I got a bit overwhelmed by the game play and lack of sleep so I have put it down for now. However, I think the story has sufficiently hooked me so I will likely play again very soon. Perhaps not tomorrow though, as we are starting D&D back up for the first time in months. I can't wait.
