Rice porridge. (approximate)
2 c of leftover, cooked rice (white)
2 c of milk (rice, coconut, whatevs.)
some grated fresh ginger (to taste)
some ground cardamom, or maybe nutmeg
butter (optional)
If you like, put butter in a pan and melt it.
Add your cooked rice, and add the milk a little at a time.
Maybe 1/2 c or so. You want to stir it so the rice breaks
down and gets creamy. When it gets thicker, thats when to
add more milk. Add the ginger and spice. If you add
ginger earlier in the process, it will be a bit mellower.
So keep adding milk and stirring until it's a texture you want.
Then eat it. Maybe with maple syrup.
