I had never heard this song or even heard of this artist before. I probably wouldn't have listened but for the fact that I am sitting in the parking lot of our (super liberal and progressive left wing) church waiting good my (brown eyed) daughter to be finished with Christmas pageant rehearsal and I have time to kill. (I am not sitting inside the church because there is simultaneously an alcoholics anonymous meeting going on, and Lana doesn't want me to watch the rehearsal and I feel voyeuristic ease dropping on AA, so I'm sitting in my car.
More specifically, I am sitting in my car crying my eyes out because...my God this song just made me ball like a baby. But in a good way. A very good way.
