Hello!
My name is Gen and I am currently employed as an Aupair here in Tokyo, Japan. I was to be employed only until this week, but unfortunately, due to reasons beyond her control, the Au Pair that was to take over my position was unable to come. So that leaves my host-family in a little bit of a bother. They have gone into emergancy mode, and have extended my stay (which I am, of course, happy to obilge), but we still need a new Au Pair within 3 months (my Visa can only be extended that far).
So!
"We" are looking for a new Au Pair that can be ready and willing to come to Tokyo by MAXIMUM Early October 2006 (september is better).
For those who are unsure as to what an Au Pair is, it is pretty much a Nanny, you look after little kids. Wikipedia can explain it better than me:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Au-Pair Their country must have a working holiday VISA arrangement with Japan, as that is the VISA you will need to come here. So I am sorry USA people, you are not eligable. The following countries however, do have this arrangment with Japan:
- Australia
- Canada
- France
- Germany
- Korea
- New Zealand
- United Kingdom

http://www.aupair-world.net/index.php/aupair_detail/?a=67244 Please NOTE: This is a SERIOUS job. This isn't an opportunity to expand your manga collection or see Gackt in concert. You will get paid very little and have long hours in terms of when the mother gets home at night. You need to be COMMITTED to the JOB and HIM. It's all well and good to want these things, but ignoring him to watch anime or listen to j-rock is completely unacceptable. You need to be mature, sincere and above all else, professional. While you are not a nanny, you will be living in a house (yes, house) with two VERY professional parents in terms of work ethic and job placement. You need to act accordingly.
If you are still interested, please email me at G.Tredrea (at) gmail.com and I will forward serious applicants onto my family.
Thank you!
