Mizushima Hiro’s next issue as an editor-in-chief of “GLOBAL WORK” announced
Earlier, tokyohive reported that actor Mizushima Hiro was appointed as the editor-in-chief for lifestyle magazine, “GLOBAL WORK”, which published its first issue back in March. Now, details of the magazine’s next issue and title have been unveiled!
The theme of the second issue is “serendipity”. The theme was brought up by Mizushima himself during an editorial meeting for their magazine last April. According to him, he wants showcase people’s difficulties, worries, and other new things with this theme.
“During the creation of our second issue, I was pondering upon the world’s state of affairs and I arrived at this one word: serendipity,” Mizushima said about the upcoming issue. “This word, which is rarely used alone, can mean ‘coincidental chance’ or ‘law of influence’. This word can apply to me as it may mean, ‘if you wait, a good opportunity will come to you’ or ‘luck that happens when you move towards your goal and coincidentally meet your objective’.”
As for the message of their second issue to the readers, it was said that they “wish for those who pick up [the] magazine to bear a positive phenomenon like serendipity”.
The second issue of “GLOBAL WORK” will be available on September 5th.
