A good-looking shop attendant played by Kanjani8′s Shingo Murakami will appear in the final of Ryo Nishikido’s drama, it was revealed on May 9, reports Oricon.

Nishikido’s drama “犬を飼うということ〜スカイと我が家の180日〜 (Inu wo kau to iukoto ~Sky to wagaya no 180-nichi~)” will air its final episode tonight, but not before fans get to see Sachiko’s (Nishikido’s character’s wife) attractive supermarket co-worker from where she used to work.

“(When I read the script,) it said, ‘good-looking shop attendant’, and I thought, ‘is someone going to be a guest’,” Nishikido said.

“I felt like I was intruding by coming in at the last scene of this long drama, but I hope I can add something to the story,” Murakami said.

It has been reported Murakami told Nishikido the night before shooting, he was worried whether he would be allowed to use his Kansai accent. Nishikido immediately called the producers, who gave Murakami the thumbs down, meaning fans will see both talents speaking textbook style Japanese.

On the day of the shoot, however, Murakami was not the only one who was nervous.

“I was embarrassed. I was worried the staff would think, ‘so that’s how he acts in front of Kanjani8′. That and I was worried about how I looked working here from Murakami’s perspective. I was embarrassed to be in front of both parties,” Nishikido said.

“The moment I saw him (Nishikido) on set, I was like, ‘why is the main character acting so nervous!?’ But then once we started, he looked like he was having a lot of fun,” Murakami said.
