KAT-TUN’s newest concert DVD has sold more than 100,000 copies in its first week of sales, taking it to number one on the general DVD sales chart and Music DVD sales chart in Japan, reports Oricon.
“KAT-TUN -NO MORE PAIN- WORLD TOUR 2010″ was released on December 29, and is the eighth straight music DVD sales chart topper the group has had in their career since “お客様は神サマーConcert 55万人愛のリクエストに応じて!! (Okyakusama wa KamiSummer Concert 550,000-nin Ai no Request ni Oujite!!)” which was released in 2003.
The concert DVD is the third number one the group has had to date on the general DVD sales charts as well.

MOMOEDGEWOOD KAT-TUN to do outdoor kombinat concert
KAT-TUN will become the first group to do an outdoor kombinat concert and a 5-dome national concert tour in Japan.
The outdoor concert will be held in Kawasaki city’s Higashiougijima Higashi Park, where a concert venue capable of fitting 20,000 fans will be set up. Pet dogs will also be allowed into the park, and KAT-TUN members will be taking part in parades prior to their concert.
“I’m very excited. I’m happy that we’ll be able to share some time with so many more fans this year which is our fifth anniversary,” said Kazuya Kamenashi.
