I'm pulled over right now in a small town. It's pouring outside so much that I didn't want to risk it but driving much further. Instead, I'll just sit here while the rain swirls around me and read a bit, perhaps take a nap, and then maybe drive some more later.

Don't have Internet here at the cafe I'm at for some reason, but I just had to write about how angry I am with the prop 8 decision. They ignored a lot of valid legal arguments and instead insisted that the will of the majority is enough to take away what they had already determined was a protected legal right. Meeting with professors is always so nerve racking.

When you're asking them to think about you for a committee even more so.

Communication and posting might be less in the next week because I forgot my laptop at the security checkpoint of the DFW airport. Our cab didn't pick us up for an hour! We were standing outside waiting for a couple minutes to see if it would show up and a woman picked us up and took us to the airport. God bless her
