Chapter 1   Chapter 2  Chapter 4

Davros smiled and activated a view screen showing the twenty-seven planets surrounded by glowing energy. "Stand witness, all of you. Your pitiful strategies have failed, your weapons are useless, and...oh the end of the universe has come."

As the Supreme Dalek continued the countdown and everyone's attention was on the screen, Donna slowly pulled herself up from behind the console and smirked as she tweaked a few knobs.

"Five...four...three...two...one..." An alarm began to shriek.

"Aaand closing all Z Neutrino loops using an internalized synchronous backfeed reversal loop," Donna said gleefully, flipping a switch over. "That button there!"

The Doctor stared at his companion in shock. "B-but, Donna, you can't even change a plug! You said so yourself! How did you do that?!"

She grinned at him. "Wouldn't you love to know, Time Boy?"

"You'll suffer for this!" Davros snarled, raising his hand towards her.

She just smirked back and flipped a lever upwards, laughing as the energy rerouted itself back down the scientist's arm. "Ha! Biometric dampening field with a retroverted arc conversion. Works every time!"

"Exterminate her!"

As the Daleks moved towards her, Donna just grinned and started tapping away at the switches in front of her. The Daleks skidded to a halt as their weapons dropped loosely to their sides.

"Weapons non functional," the woman laughed.

The Doctor's mouth dropped open. "H-how did you do that?!"

"She’s part Time Lord now, you idiot," his counterpart snapped.

"And part human, thank you very much! That was a two-way biological metacrisis. I'm half Doctor and half Donna! Brilliant!"

"The DoctorDonna. Just like the Ood said."

"Exactly. Now...holding cells deactivated!" Donna said with a smile, tapping three more levers. "Don't just stand there, you two Time Idiots! Come and help me!"

As the two Time Lords ran for the control console, Davros revved his chair towards them, shouting for his Daleks to stop them.

Donna just grinned and reached for a circular dial. "Oh, this is so dismal! Well now lets see if we can't do something about that, maybe add some humour! Now...spin!"

The Daleks shrieked as they were sent spinning around the room and the leather-clad Doctor stared at Donna. "How did you do that?"

"Oh I'll tell you later. I'm surprised you never thought of it. Loads of fun and makes it impossible for them to attack! Now come on, boys, we've got twenty-seven planets to send home. Activating Magnatron!"

Rose made her way to the console, avoiding the still helplessly spinning Daleks. "Anything I can do to help?"

Donna grinned. "Of course! Hold that switch down when I say!"

The cloned Doctor smiled down at the blonde woman beside him. "Hello."

She grinned up at him. "Hello. Glad you're back."

"Oi, you two, no flirting! Wait until after we save the universe! Now...reverse!"

The four of them pressed down, pulled and twisted the controls assigned to them and on the view screen the planets disappeared one by one.

The others made their way over to the console and Jackie frowned. "Is anyone going to tell us what's going on? Why is His Moodiness back?"

Donna smiled. "He," she explained, pointing at the messy-haired Doctor, "poured all his regeneration energy into his spare hand. I touched the hand and he," here she gestured to the other Doctor, "grew out of it but that energy fed back into me. But, it just stayed dormant until clone boy there helped me bring some of it to the surface so I could help take down Davros. I'm part human...part Time Lord. And I got the best bit. I got his mind, fantastic thing that it is."

"So...there's three of you. Three Doctors?" Sarah Jane ventured.

"Oh, I can't tell you what I'm thinking right now," Jack said gleefully, ignoring the exasperated looks shot his direction.

"You promised me, Dalek Caan," Davros snarled, turning to look at his traitorous creation. "Why did you not foresee this?!"

The Doctor smirked. "Oh, I think he did. Someone's been manipulating the timelines for ages now."

Caan chuckled. "This would have happened anyway. I only helped, Doctor."

Suddenly a hatch in the ceiling opened and the gleaming red form of the Supreme Dalek lowered itself into the Vault. "You have betrayed us, Davros. You will all be exterminated!" The Dalek fired its weapon, nearly striking the Doctor as he worked beneath the console. Instead the beam impacted with the machine itself, sending up a shower of sparks.

Captain Jack hefted his gun into the air and fired it at the wildly shooting Dalek. "Hey! Like I was saying earlier. Feel this!" The white beam struck the Supreme Dalek in the centre and its dome blew off with a screech.

The Doctor frantically waved away the smoke pouring from the ruined machine. "We've lost the Magnatron! And there's still one planet left. Oh brilliant, guess which one it is!"
