HTTYD shorts review *spoilers*

I am completely blown away. No really, I am. Dreamworks went above and beyond with these two shorts. I mean, yes Boneknapper was fun and all, but these two, especially Gift of the Night Fury, were just amazing.
First of all, let me just say that I nearly cried at the end of GotNF. The fact that Toothless was willing to give up being able to fly on his own so he and Hiccup could keep flying together was just so sweet! Not to mention those baby dragons are just completely adorable...especially those Zipplebacks! What was also really fun was the fact that almost(Astrid excluded)everyone was in character! Astrid just felt a little off to me. I'm not sure why but fortunately everyone else was perfect.
Book of Dragons...hmm...let's just say it took the hilarity of Boneknapper to a whole new level. The entire story of the viking who wrote the Dragon Book was so perfect. Plus, the fact that it was 2D animated added to the cuteness. Then there were the dragons themselves. You know that scene in the original film when Hiccup is paging through the Dragon Book and starts listing off the names? Well, those dragons were in this short...fully 3D animated. I completely fell in love with the Whispering Death. It's so terrifying...
In conclusion let me just say this: bravo, Dreamworks, bravo.
