Pensic Progress

Side note - It took forever to upload that herd of turtles!

Weekend was fairly productive. Got the 4 tunics for Gosling#2 done, the 8 pair of pants only need hems and elastic (yes - heresy). The guys were in dire need of new pants. My old garb was partially pinned, and most of that is now taken in. Still have a bunch to pin. The Atlantian helmet mantles are embroidered, now to cut them and their lining out during lunch and to see if I can get a bunch made up to take to fighter practice. Rorik needs new linen coifs to keep the evil sunburn away. Those will probably be a first week hand stitching project. I would really like to turn my striped linen into a Persian coat/bathrobe. The rest of my wish list is to take this nice piece of linen and turn it into a hangaroc and an anglo/saxon over tunic. Further down the list is a new chemise/undergown out of this very soft linen/cotton.

A very little bit of packing is happening. The new tires for the truck are being obtained today, along with the last bits of wood needed for Gosling#2's bed. I'm finally beginning to rough out the meal plan and shopping list. I have to work today and tomorrow, but I'll have Wednesday and Thursday to finish the sewing, pack and, Lord willing, clean up the house some. My oft stated dream is to leave for Pensic with a completely clean/tidy house so that coming back is less stressful.

Now to find a place to hide during lunch and cut out the mantles.
