Taking a sort of break tonight from the manic sewing of the past few weeks. I would really like to make some Middle Eastern garb for us, but I haven't researched it yet, and don't want to do a half-assed job. Gosling #1 has fabric and a plan, so we'll get her together. Think I will try to get Gosling#2's collar started too. Maybe even get a start

Heh, heh, heh... And attending royalty makes it difficult, too. Been there, done that. Actually, working up signals with your attendants means you can be 'called aside for an emergency' whenever you need it. Scratching an elbow does not always mean your elbow itched.

Also, your predecessors DID pass along the spiffy baronial dayshade with the Storvik arms painted on, did they not? Just checking.

We do have the day shade and pennants, etc. What we are looking at is people power to get the entire encampment set up, along with getting used to the routine. Once we get a routine established bout what goes to which event, we'll have standard load lists to work from. I just don't want to totally spaz the first few times.
