Tbh I didn't realize I shipped it either until they broke up in 2x06. At which I cried. At which I had to admit to myself that I went from 'don't mind them' to 'REALLY shipping them'. Lol? I'd like a Damon/Stefan/Elena thing better though as well, especially since I doubt Damon/Alaric is going to be canon. And I need Damon to get tlc. ;)
