uhm, two quick things...

Okay, so I was re-watching Deus Ex Machina and I'm about to re-watch Do No Harm (if you hear cries from wherever you are, that's me by the way), but since I need to meta about them and not speculate, just a couple of things I noticed, one being for the lulz and one being actually half serious. Probably I'm completely wrong here and it's just ( Read more... )

lost speculation, lost season 5, lost, wtf

I think the whole coming back from dead needs to be seriously addressed.

I totally agree on the lack of consistancy in the "dead but here" appearences. I wasted my time trying to figure out how Charlie could be visible not only to Hurley but another mental patient, how he could slap Hurley, how he can have new clothes and hair. Then all your theories go down the toilet because they'll be another ep where Hurley is talking to an invisible Mr Eko who Sayid can't see or hear.

Darlton still go around saying "On Lost, dead means dead" and "The island isn't purgatory either". Either they are lying for some inane reason or (most likely) Darlton have their own all-new definition of "dead" on Lost that they don't care to share with the viewers.

Well, Sayid isn't mental. ;) ;)

Seriously, I don't give a damn about the mechanics of being dead but here but for me it's absolutely fine since it's fic fodder. I mean, I'd do it even if it wasn't canon but if it is then even better because there's so much S1 Boone I can write. Well, there's also so much dead!Boone I can write but having the option always works.

To me, I still think they don't have an idea of what they're doing. ;)

Yes, the ghost appearances are equally problematic in terms of consistency. We've got Boone, Ana, Charlie, Yemi, Christian (maybe), Claire(?) and Eko popping up in a number of guises. Then again consistency has never been the show's strong point.

I still believe the island was supposed to represent purgatory but viewers guessed that too early on and they decided to change gears because SHOCKING is more important than logical.

Hey, I'm the rant queen when I want, rant away at me! Not that I don't agree, right? And thanks for the wishes but I didn't have any luck. I mean, DEM was fine, Do No Harm.. blah. I'm getting worse. Before it was just the end, now I was sobbing by the middle. I am a complete masochist, huh?

OMG Chuck and Locke being siblings is like the best crack ever. Except not. I mean, Locke/Ned is seriously disturbing.

The religious subtext makes me want to commit harakiri actually but blah. Not for anything I hated Fire + Water even if there was stuff I liked way less lately. I don't like the Locke = Jesus theory at ALL and especially while I still somehow care about him he's the only person that I do not want to get the free pass. Of course ( ... )
