Okay, so I was re-watching Deus Ex Machina and I'm about to re-watch Do No Harm (if you hear cries from wherever you are, that's me by the way), but since I need to meta about them and not speculate, just a couple of things I noticed, one being for the lulz and one being actually half serious. Probably I'm completely wrong here and it's just another coincidence but who knows.
1) I didn't remember that the actress playing Locke's mom was Chuck's aunt Vivian from Pushing Daisies, probably because I had seen the episode before starting to watch PD and didn't notice but... seriously?
I was laughing for all that first part. The second not so much because the mood wasn't the right one but seriously. I mean. I was expecting Lily to pop up any second.
2) Uuuuhm... not that I want to back up the whole Locke-is-Jesus-Christ theory because I don't like it and not really and I know we're supposed to think the woman is delusional and schizophrenic but erm... how come the only character who has promptly resurrected in five seasons (not talking about Christian here for a second, I guess he's a whole other deal), the first time when he was told that he was special, was also told that he was immaculately conceived? *cringes because the expression is enough to make me cringe* I don't want to believe that she wasn't being delusional (also because the kidney matched with Cooper's and whatnot) but with all the speculation that was last year about Cooper being too young to be Locke's dad considering that he should have been twice his mom's age and it was a stretch.... I mean, I can't buy that while writing S1 they already knew what happened in S5, I'm sure that they didn't know what the fuck they were doing until late S2 earliest, but still. Not that I like it and I won't even try to meta about it when it comes to that. Still it sounded like quite the coincidence.
*is back on having her heart ripped out and indulging masochistic tendencies*
By the way? Nothing, nothing beats S1. Not really. Okay, I've told the obvious thing. Back on my masochism.
