2008 in Review
1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Got my own apartment, adopted a kitty, & got engaged
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I got strong-armed into making a resolution (to get a kitty), I actually did keep it!!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No
5. What countries did you visit?
I haven’t been abroad in a long time
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Emotional independence from my folks
7. What date(s) from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Sept 15th (my birthday actually). It was the day I got engaged.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting my kitty & proving to myself that I was a big enough girl to have my own apartment
9. What could you have done better on? (Changed from: “What was your biggest failure?” I like this as well!)
Several things, all of them too detailed for here.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes. I was sick w/ flu for a week in Feb. I was also down w/ a sinus infection in June.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Elphaba!! (my kitty)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Um…Cody’s!!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
That’s a question only a drama llama would ask.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, Kitty, Eating out
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting Engaged!!! [heard about it enough yet?]
16. What song will always remind you of 2008?

a. Happier or sadder?
Happier
b. Thinner or fatter?
Shamefully fatter _

All things considered…about the same.

cosplay, writing, anime watching

Less laziness all around
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
The morning will be with immediate family. The afternoon will be with extended family.

CourtTV offerings, oh and Girls Next Door. (I love guilty pleasure tv)

Hrm…a toss up between “The Other Bolyen Girl” and “The Autobiography of King Henry VIII”

Yoko Kanno

Books. I asked for books and got many!

Dark Knight was pretty badass

Hugh out with my mom & cat in the morning. In the evening…I got engaged!!
28. What would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More money. More job satisfaction.

"Comfy and casual…and a bit oddball at times. If you don’t like it, go bump a stump”

The love of my honey and my kitty.

Fancy? As in would bone mercilessly if given half a chance? Hrm…Christian Bale.
Fancy? As in take a curious interest in their life? Angelina Jolie.

I try to stay as apathetic about politics as possible.

Cutting the cord hurts everyone all around, but must be done (especially if you want a healthy relationship in years to come)
