New Job but not really...
Working from home with no remote access is hard... Well actually it's impossible to actually DO the job at all.
I have been supplied with a laptop but I can't log into it because this needs to be done for the first time whilst connected to the system in the office and the idiots nice people in IT didn't bother to do that before they sent it to me. It's a nice enough laptop but currently completely useless to me. I am spending my days in Skype training sessions or familiarising myself with very complicated spreadsheets which I can't edit because I can't get access to the information I would need to do so.
They're paying me.
