Wow, okay. I lost my post. A post that took me a half hour to type up because, hey, the backspace button skips back randomly and I end up losing some words I don't intend on deleting. Bah humbug. At least it was about tv. Right on.
(
my thoughts on the tv show cancellations and renewals )
From what I understand (and this is only from a couple of sources, so take it as you will, but apparently Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic cannot stand each other, so the "telling not showing" thing is on purpose. I don't think that is it for me. Although maybe? In part? It just seems to me like it used to be more fun. And there were a few episodes this year that I was like "Wha?" about some aspects about them. Either the characterization seemed off (making a character (or two) act stupidly to advance the plot) or the plot didn't engage me that much. IDK.
I only watched the first couple of seasons, but I can understand people's frustration on the matter.
That is true. I do love how broken he is. (Hence the icon I used. :D ) But I just can't bring myself to care about all of the red herrings and "OMG, is this person part of Red John's network?" and all that stuff. I might just be a bad fan.
