1. I suspect that for the next while any application of a Canadian city to host the Olympics will be met with either tears or "lol, Canada"
2. If we lose this game, we'll be tied for most gold medals won at a winter Olympics. If we win, we'll break the record. Either way we've bested ourselves so much, which is incredibly amazing.
3. Jacques Rogge, why should women's hockey be done away with? You can't seriously claim there's an issue of parity, look at the beginnings of mens' hockey. Look at alpine skiing. This is striking me as very Euro-centric, and I'm getting a hint of misogyny, too.
