Sunday things
I go back to work on Wednesday. I haven’t done half of what I thought I’d get done over the past three and a half weeks - lol.
I’ve read two books and I’ve written … one ficlet. Oh wait - two ficlets. I’m picking away at some other things as well but those are the ones I’ve finished and put up so far.
I meant to do so much more than that - lol. But with being at home at the same time as Patrick’s on holiday from kindy means that most of my time has been eaten up rather ravenously.
Also I find it’s easier to maintain a kind of routine for writing when I’m working. I’m not sure why that is.
Anyway. I’m going to sign up for the Merlin big bang, and I have a story idea in mind. I just need to be a grown-up and do an outline so I’m ready to start writing when sign-ups open on February 1.
Theoretically.
I don’t want to say too much because I’m superstitious about these things but apparently I’m writing a canon era magic reveal fic. The pairing is Merlin/Gwaine. And, er, background Arthur/Leon. BECAUSE OF REASONS.
The other thing I’m working on at the moment is a Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy movie ‘verse fix-it fic for Peter Guillam and his movie boyfriend. It was just supposed to be reunion!porn but apparently I have feelings.
I blame Sherlock. Because. Reichenbach. I will never not have feelings about that episode. And John. And John.
I almost kind of want to write post-Reichenbach fic but I’m hesitant. Because I ALSO want all of the fluffy porn right now, so I’m torn - lol.
Urgh, I have a headache. Laterss!
