Makeover time!
...for this doll I got at an estate sale down the street. By the way, estate sales are pretty creepy, but I appreciated the recycling aspect of it. I got two records and this little doll:
I wasn't too crazy about her outfit though, so I decided to do my best at a new one. Here she is stripped down. Dolls look so wonderfully pathetic without their finery:
And in some brand-new underwear (chemise and petticoats ^_^):

All hand sewn, from an old shirt I found at a thrift store at some point and had thrown in with my fabric. I love how gauzy it is. The dress is nice and full at the back, too, with lots of pleats. There's something so satisfying about such a quickly finished hand-sewn project. This is my second dress, and it was so much fun. I wonder if I'm becoming addicted.
